Political correctness?

I get a call from my mom today, yeah I got a mom. She has been keepin up with the Race and is a big fan. She said and I quote "I love that midget!" After I stopped laughing (you had to be there.) I corrected her which is probably one of the first times I have ever done so. Now my mom when she likes something she tells it like it is and if that means using a term less endearing to some, well then you get what you get. She did go on to say that she liked the "midget" the best but was not so keen on the other half of the team. Mom says she seems a little weak. We did come to the agreement that the "midget" would hve done better to have made it a full on Munchkin team, (hey take a joke I'll bet the midget can). Anyway just wanted to put that out there and tell mom, sorry I corrected you. You can say "midget" all you want, I got your back.

Wash up.

Well I have been gone for awhile but have been very busy with my poison oak soap business. Anyway what little of the Race I have been able to watch I have been a little disapointed with. I hope that it picks up as I am sure it will. If you feel the way I do, you have to also know that only by watching and staying with it will you get the full feeling of the race. I have to admit this season has been hard for me to watch, not only because I don't find it as interesting but also because, we are not there. This is a once in a life time event that you cannot reproduce. Racers if you are reading this don't take it too much to heart. I am positive you as a group were as interesting as any other group who has gone before you. You have to remember you are in someone elses hands once it is on tape and they control your persona. Enjoy your moment it is short lived.

Hey, Richard Dawson, go back to your podium until it's time to play The Feud.

All I have to say is SCUMBAG. What the hell was that all about? It is obvious that sombody watched the show last season and picked up a few good tips along the way. It is also evident that somebody else's mama didn't teach them very good manners.
I will talk about three teams all of which are worthy of a mention.
First, my favorite, (if only for a short time.) are Dennis and Erika because they knew a good move when they saw one. The problem, with the way they tried to pull it off was they let everyone else in on it before they had done it. Not too smart. Their second bad move was allowing the others to take their cabs. All they had to do was call the cab and meet it a block up the road. Hey guys, this is a race you know? Yes, I guess nice guys do finish last. (They're the Chris and Amanda of the race but with less potty mouth and sarcasm)
Jim and Marsha well Jim I've been there and I know what you were goin' through. Listen pop, I'll bet you're really a nice guy but just know this; You are not the eye candy. You are a tough old coot and I like that. Marsha you did pretty good by taking your dad to the doctor even though it might put you out. Good job. I know I was proud of you. You guys are great but I'm not puttin' any bets on you yet, this is a horse I need to see run a bit longer. (My Weezer and Geezer of the race.)
Charla and Mirna I think these guys really do have what it takes. Now the short thing may hold you back, but in the long run this may be the thing that gets you farthest. (That and speaking a gazillion languages.) If anyone else is smart they should be hooking up with the two of you right now. Yeah I know Charla is very small but hey, it's not a foot race yet. These are my Clowns of the race (as in Jon and Al) lots of talent in small packages.
I have a lot of hope for this Bunch, I do not prehate and will not start that crap, but I do have my faves.
