Revenge Of The Sith

It took me a few days to recover from the con. After 5 days of aimlessly wandering the convention floor, surrounded by 70,000 other hot sweaty people I just needed a few days to recouperate once I got home.
My superpower is that of bargain hunting. I got so many great deals that I just about shat myself with glee when I unloaded everything in the hotel room.
That Star Wars panel on Saturday was probably the point during the con at which my nerdiness was level was at it's highest. Sure it was one big two hour commercial for a movie that's not even going to be out until next May but there's something fun about being in a room filled with 6000+ excited geeks. The best part was watching people tear ass out of the panel in order to go buy Revenge Of The Sith t-shirts when it was announced that they were on sale in the Lucasfilm booth.

I'm a couple days behind on the Tivo so my comments on this week's episode of the race should be up in a few days. I did manage to catch last week and I think it was painfully obvious that Jim and Marsha were out as soon as they got those bad plane tickets. All the creative editing in the world couldn't hide that. That's too bad too. She wasn't too hard on the eyes.

Btw, I took a ton of pics at the con and they're off at the photolab now. I should have them up by the end of the week.

Who'd have thought that there would be nerds at a comic book convention?

There wont be a lot of updates this week because Wednesday morning I'm heading down here:

I'm meeting up with Michael and Kathy on Saturday so if you're there you may see us around.

With great power...

I know that these are fairly "old" in internet time but I came across them while the site was down and thought that they warranted posting anyways.
The comics load randomly and if you refresh your browser you'll get different ones every time. There are 20 in all.

Don't hate.

I was going over the schedule for the San Diego Comic Con when to my surprise I saw that there is a Reality Stars Unleased panel. However, through some oversight the old man and I were fed a big bowl of Captain Crunch with Dissberries and were not invited. Odd. I'm registered for all 5 days of the con so who knows. I may cruise over to their panel after the Star Wars Extravaganza.
Here's the description of the panel from their site.

2:00-3:00 Reality Stars Unleashed!—Meet some of your favorite reality TV stars, including Lex (Survivor Africa, Survivor All Stars), Trischelle (Real World Vegas, Real World Road Rules Challenge), Josh Souza (Big Brother 1), Erika Landin (Big Brother 4), Irulan Wilson (Real World Vegas, Real World Road Rules Challenge), Alton Williams (Real World Vegas, Real World Road Rules Challenge), and more in this exciting Q&A session. How very astute...

In case you haven't noticed a figurative ton of the comments have disappeared during the server move.
Oh well.

Pay Up Sucka

Chris Garry... You can paypal that cash you lost to me anytime now.
I win.
(Chris and I made a bet regarding AR5 and his fool ass lost.)
I'm not going to go into it too much because I don't want to repeat what's gonna be in the recrap, but I will say that I think this is a great fucking cast.

Chip and Kim,
I noticed you kids lived down behind The Orange Curtain
if you guys want to hook it up and tear up O.C. shoot me an email. It's always fun to meet up with members of the extended family.

Let's not ever be apart again.

The site's back! Huzzah!
We had some serious problems with the old hosting company (They sucked serious ass) but it's all been worked out and we're on with a new company and everything works now.

I didn't get a chance to watch the first episode of AR5 yet. I've got it on Tivo and will get to it after I hit the comic store tomorrow. Last I heard Chris and I were planning on doing recraps...
